Investment & Timelines

Transparency is core to our bespoke service. Below is a guide to what you can expect during the commissioning process.

Lead Times (8–16 Weeks)

Typical production ranges from 8 weeks for individual vessels to 16 weeks for complex lighting or wall installations. This allows for careful drying and multiple kiln firings.

Pricing Factors

Costs are determined by scale, technical complexity, material volume, and any specialized mounting requirements. All quotes are fixed once the concept is approved.

Deposit & Revisions

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to commence work. Two rounds of design revisions are included in the initial quote to ensure the final piece is perfect.

Shipping & Installation

We provide secure New Zealand-wide delivery. For large-scale wall installations, we offer on-site supervision or detailed mounting guides for your contractor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum order value for commissions?

Our bespoke services typically begin at $850 NZD for individual vessels. For trade and commercial projects, we provide custom quotes based on volume and complexity.

Can you match specific interior colors?

While we specialize in ivory and neutral tones, we can adjust the warmth and depth of our glazes to harmonize with your specific stone, timber, or paint samples.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we regularly ship commissions to Australia, North America, and Europe. We handle all export crating and can provide shipping quotes during the proposal stage.

What happens if a piece is damaged in transit?

All shipments are fully insured. In the rare event of damage, we will prioritize a replacement production or provide a full refund depending on your project timeline.

Can I request a change after production has started?

Due to the nature of clay, major structural changes cannot be made once firing has begun. We provide a final review of the damp clay form before the first firing to avoid this.

Do you offer discounts for interior designers?

Yes, we have a dedicated trade program for registered architects and interior designers. Please indicate your trade status in the enquiry form.
